DROZDEK, Justyna ("Jenni") (Case Western Reserve University) is an Adjunct Lecturer in the Department of Art History. In 2008, she completed her dissertation about the role of modernist Polish periodicals in providing Polish artists with an understanding of international modernism. Her teaching and scholarly interests include 19th and 20th century European art, 20th century American art, contemporary art, gender and visual culture, cultural and ethnic identity and representation, and the impact of political and intellectual history upon visual culture. She has taught a variety of courses at Duquesne, including such thematic topics as Art and Politics and Art and Society.
