MILLER, Laura E. A 2002 graduate of Duquesne's undergraduate Theatre Arts program, Laura left Pittsburgh to pursue a modeling and acting career in Chicago in September of 2002. In August of 2004, she returned to Pittsburgh to begin working on a master's degree in Literature here at Duquesne, which she is still pursuing. Her research interests include twentieth-century African-American Literature, as well as eighteenth-century studies, with an emphasis on the intersections between gender, performance, and the theatre. She joined the staff of the Art History Department full-time in July of 2005. Anyone who has questions about the Art History Department, its programs, its procedures, or its faculty, can come see Laura. She enjoys meeting and chatting with the students and their friends and families, and she is honored to have been associated with Duquesne since her arrival freshman year in 1997. She happily responds to her nickname: Jane Duquesne. She hopes you'll stop by and say hello!
