The Department of History at Duquesne is staffed by both veteran faculty members, with many years of teaching experience and strong records of research and publication, as well as a number of energetic younger scholars. All are strongly committed to working closely with students. They welcome the opportunity to share their knowledge and skills with all who seek a career in studying the past. Faculty who teach the basic professional courses and supervise interns in the AME Program are full-time professors in the Department of History who have considerable experience in public History, as well as expertise in their areas of historical specialization.
