The McAnulty College and Graduate School of Liberal Arts are at the center of Duquesne University's Education for the Mind, Heart and Spirit. Founded in 1878 as the first of the University's schools, the College embodies both Duquesne's Catholic tradition and its ecumenical atmosphere.

We strive for academic excellence, search for truth, aspire to live a virtuous life, respect the dignity of the human person, foster a spirit of service to the poor and to all others, and seek to build the communities in which we live and work.

We invite you to go to our YouTube site to hear what students in the McAnulty College of Liberal Arts say about their majors and the experience of being a student at Duquesne. You can view a 4-minute version of "Students Speak" or the complete 18-minute version (in two parts).

You can also learn about the McAnulty College of Liberal Arts on Facebook and from our student-written blog, Duquesne | Liberal Arts.

ImpressionsWe’re pleased to share our alumni newsletter PDFImpressions (winter 2008 edition, 1.6 MB PDF), highlighting news from the College and achievements by faculty and students.
