A graduate of the Multimedia Program, James Vota has been a instructor in the program since 1997. His focus is on the development and design of dynamic, database-driven web technologies, e-business and e-commerce applications. Professionally, James has acted as an e-Commerce and e-Business consultant for both Fortune 50 and Fortune 500 companies in a variety of geographical areas, including New York, Ohio, Connecticut, California and here in Pittsburgh. His focus has been on developing enterprise level, Internet-based solutions for these companies as they move into the Internet business world. James teaches the majority of the Internet based courses in the Multimedia department, where students gain knowledge of Internet programming and communications, relational database theory and practice, web server configuration and administration, application development processes, team management, and information architecture. James has a Bachelors degree in Psychology, a Masters degree in Education and a Masters degree in Multimedia Technology, all from Duquesne University.
